Zimmer Durom Recall

The Zimmer Durom cup is a component used as part of hip replacement surgery. Zimmer Durom Cup Hip Replacement Component Defective

Surgeons have used the Zimmer Durom cup in the hip replacement surgeries of several thousands of patients. Though the initial x-rays performed post-surgery showed no sign of problems, soon patients began to complain of pain. Upon further examination with x-rays, the physicians determined that the cup was not adhering to the bone and was coming loose or migrating around the socket.
