Wright Hip Replacement Lawsuit

The Wright Medical Technology Profemur® Hip System has a modular neck which was originally designed to adjust for different leg lengths. This was intended to save soft tissue in the hip region from being damaged by the implant. However, the Profemur® Hip System design allows for potential bending of this neck component, which can lead to corrosion, fatigue and failure.

In addition to the unsafe design, claims also include that the company was negligent because it used an exception in order to bypass FDA required testing.
