Unum health insurance offers short-term and long-term disability benefits to employers and employees in the event of a critical illness or injury that impairs their ability to earn a living or function normally. Formerly known as Unum Provident, the Unum Group also offers life and accident insurance via its subsidiaries, which include:

Additionally, Unum was required to pay a fine of $15 million in restitution fees.
