Raptiva, known generically as efalizumab, has been linked to the development of serious infections including progressive multifocal leukoencephalopathy (PML). Its manufacturer, Genentech, announced a voluntary recall of the Psoriasis medication April 8, 2009 in response to several reports of PML among Raptiva users.
