Before she died, she suffered a seizure in front of her husband and children, and was taken by ambulance to a medical center in Toms River, New Jersey. She was pronounced dead in the ER, of massive pulmonary thromboembolisms from a deep vein thrombosis, one of NuvaRing's side effects.
