Bright Steps Forward, a non-profit organization designed to raise money to send children with disabilities to Therapies 4 Kids clinics, announced its support for a new form of treatment for children living with cerebral palsy.
The new treatment uses oxygen to awaken the children’s brain cells. The children breathe 100 percent, pure oxygen inside a chamber in an effort to awaken their brain cells before going into therapy. The program is designed to help the children learn and absorb everything they are taught during therapy.
Although the treatment program has not been clinically proven to be a success, members of Bright Steps Forward stand behind the oxygen-based treatment, claiming it is effective for children with cerebral palsy.

Therapies 4 Kids Clinics offers housing at the local Ronald McDonald House for the children that are enrolled in the clinic for treatment. Although there is not an official housing charge, the clinic asks for $15/ night in donations. The clinics also provide free transportation.
