New York police are still on the search for the person responsible for a hit and run accident that left a pedestrian severely injured Nov. 4.
According to reports, Antonio Romano, 55, was either getting in or out of his parked car in Staten Island, NY when an unknown driver hit him with his vehicle and fled the scene.
Police say they are looking for any leads pointing to the responsible party while Romano is fighting for his life at the Staten Island University Hospital, Ocean Breeze. Romano is suffering traumatic head injuries.
Any person operating a vehicle that knowingly causes damage to another person’s property or to an actual person by way of his/her vehicle is required to stop at the scene of the accident and provide the following information to the other person(s) involved:
