The daughter of a woman who recently died while living at the Loveland Good Samaritan Society has filed a wrongful death suit against the home for her mother's death.
The victim was reportedly a resident at the Evangelical Lutheran Good Samaritan Society in Loveland Good Samaritan Village in Colorado and fell into a coma before suddenly dying.
Plaintiff Blames Nursing Home Staff
Helen Green, the daughter of Shelley Green, filed the lawsuit against the home and her mother’s doctor, claiming that they were negligent in caring for her mother.
While living at the home, Shelley Green supposedly began getting urinary tract infections.
Helen believes the infections were the result of the staff’s negligence and improper care of her mother.
Resident of Home Slips into Coma
At the age of 54, Shelley slipped into a coma due to the severity of one of her infections and died shortly after.
The suit claims that the employees at the home failed to properly care for Green and instead ignored her condition.
Shelley Green is reportedly asking for at least $100,000 in damages in the suit.
