"15 injured in school bus accidents"
A Florida elementary school bus overturned Wednesday morning north of Tampa, sending eight to the hospital. The school bus was carrying 24 children aboard.
One child was airlifted by helicopter to a Tampa hospital, but none of the injuries were believed life threatening. The other seven injured children and the driver were taken to local hospitals.
The reason the school bus left the road and overturned is unclear, but the school bus accident investigation is continuing.
Also Wednesday morning, in Logan, West Virginia, a school bus slid on a patch of black ice near a railroad crossing and overturned to its side. Minor injuries were suffered to the bus driver and five children, including four elementary school students.
