A woman living in Monroe County, Illinois filed a personal injury lawsuit against a man from Georgia and his employer following an auto accident, in which she claims, was his fault.
Elizabeth M. Lewis filed the lawsuit Dec. 16 in St. Clair County Circuit Court, alleging that she and her passenger, Henrietta J. Langbein, were slowing to make a right hand turn at an Illinois intersection, when a semi-tractor collided with them.
According to the lawsuit, the driver of the semi-tractor, Rusty Arnold White, is responsible for the auto accident and should be held accountable.
The lawsuit alleges that both Lewis and Langbein suffered serious injuries during the collision. They both claim to have suffered losses, including:

Lewis has also named Collins Industries as a defendant in the case. White worked for Collins Industries at the time of the accident and was driving one of their vehicles. She claims that the company was also negligent because it failed to properly train White on how to safely operate the vehicle.
Lewis is seeking compensation from both defendants in a total amount reaching sums in excess of $200,000.
