Texas woman Lois Robinson has filed an asbestos lawsuit against 33 corporations on behalf of her deceased husband, Warren Robinson.
Lois claims that his asbestos-related disease and subsequent death was wrongfully caused by repeated and prolonged asbestos exposure in the work place.
Warren Robinson was employed as an operator and participated in jobs where he was required to work with and in proximity of asbestos and asbestos containing products.
The lawsuit claims the defendants were negligent because they failed to properly and effectively warn of the dangers of asbestos exposure.

Warren had been provided with a protective mask in order to guard against asbestos exposure but his wife claims that it was not enough. Lois asserts that the corporations did too little to provide sufficient protection for her husband.
"The products were not accompanied by adequate instructions for safe and appropriate use, together with instruction concerning maintenance and storage," the suit states.
Additionally, according to the complaint, Warren was forced to work under hazardous conditions that exposed him to unsafe amounts of asbestos.
