The U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) released a safety announcement, Jan. 14, 2011, to alert doctors and patients about the possibility of liver failure requiring transplants in persons taking Multaq®.
Two patients who took Multaq® in the last year and a half have gone into severe liver failure and needed a liver transplant. The FDA is requiring that the potential risk of liver injury be added to the Warnings and Precautions and Adverse Reactions sections of the Multaq® label.

If you or some you love has suffered acute liver failure as a result of taking Multaq®, you understand the gravity of this situation and the possibility of dying. You should not hesitate to contact an attorney to discuss your options for filing a lawsuit.
