Crestor (rosuvastatin) -- A Prescription drug used in lowering cholesterol and used in preventing cardiovascular diseases. Crestor has been linked to more occurrences of serious side effects than any other “statin” drug on the market today. Side effects can include rhabdomyolysis, a muscle degenerative disease that can lead to death.
Seroquel (quetiapine) – A prescription antipsychotic medication used in treating schizophrenia and bipolar disorder. Seroquel is most often used “off-label” in treating post-traumatic stress disorder, obsessive-compulsive behavior, anxiety disorders, and insomnia. Seroquel is linked to serious side effects including the potentially deadly tardive dyskinesia, among several others. A study found that patients taking Seroquel also have higher rates of contracting diabetes, which led to an FDA investigation.
