An MDL case is a type of class action lawsuit in which:

• The case is consolidated under one federal judge.

• specifications, testing methods and standard operating procedures associated with the manufacture of Digitek medication
• quality control and testing records (including batch sampling records and post-manufacturing documentation) for Digitek.

Both plaintiffs and defendants have until 2010 to gather and submit expert reports that backup their side of the case.

Digitek is an oral or injectable medication prescribed to treat arrhythmias and congestive heart failure.
