Byetta®, made by Amylin Pharmaceuticals and Eli Lilly and Company, is an injectable type 2 Byetta® diabetes medication that has been in use since 2005. Although Byetta® can effectively help diabetics' pancreases produce insulin more efficiently, this medication can also cause a range of mild to severe Bayetta side effects, some of which may be fatal.
