Arava Side Effects

Arava side effects have been linked to 22 deaths in addition to 130 cases of severe liver problems. The danger of Arava is its'' ability to remain in body tissue for an extremely long time. This means that if an Arava patient discontinues use of the drug therapy they can continue to suffer the serious side effects for months after.

Endocrine: diabetes mellitus, hyperthyroidism

Metabolic and nutritional: hypokalemia, weight loss, creatine phosphokinase increased, hyperglycemia, hyperlipidemia, peripheral edema
Musculo-skeletal system: arthralgia, leg cramps, joint disorder, synovitis, tenosynovitis, arthrosis, bone necrosis, bone pain, bursitis, muscle cramps, myalgia, tendon rupture
